Violence Against Women

Chattanooga College Medical, Dental, & Technical Careers is committed to the safety and well- being of all students and staff. The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The Act was originally signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1994 and has been reauthorized numerous times. VAWA provides a number of provisions to help prevent and address such offenses as stalking and domestic violence.
